How it works

NDPS

Quantity, bail under Section 37, the compliance points in search, seizure and sampling, and the offence-specific default-bail periods, including Section 36A(4)’s 180-day period.

General information, not legal advice. For criminal procedure, check Section 531 BNSS: appeals, applications, trials, inquiries and investigations pending immediately before 1 July 2024 may continue under the saved CrPC. The alleged offence date and substantive penal law are a separate question. Civil suits remain governed by the CPC and applicable special law.
